Tiers View Bed & Breakfast Woodside, in the Adelaide Hills, offers charmingly comfortable hosted accommodation in beautiful new, air conditioned en-suite rooms (underfloor heated in winter and with reverse cycle) with all-new facilities and with spectacular views of the forest/Lofty Range and/or garden courtyard. Relax in the private guest sitting room with wood burner (plenty of free wood) and underfloor heating in winter, but which is cool in the heat of the summer months. Enjoy original landscape artwork by Richard Rogers of Strathalbyn. Relish your choice of breakfast with a continental of homemade preserves/marmalades, Nick's homemade bread, hand-crafted croissants and home-made yogurt, or a very traditional cooked plate with eggs from our own free-range chooks - we keep a heritage range of chooks - Silver Grey Dorkings and White Sussex plus our couple of silkies who enjoy nothing better than saying "hello" to guests! Our bacon comes from the Balhannah Station butcher and is gum-smoked middle cut and grilled to perfection, grilled vine tomato, we are currently serving our own home-grown lamb and herb sausage and mushrooms from Monarto - we know where our food comes from! And our filtered rainwater which is so good on the skin and makes a wonderful cuppa! Tiers View is set into an escarpment with panoramic views of the Ranges and a huge sky.Set in 21 eco-friendly walkable acres with native plants, camellia and rose gardens and thousands of agapanthus in December/January. Peaceful and serene with abundant birds, wildlife, lambs in Spring (next lambing June 2012) and perfect views of the night sky.
Talking about lambs, we have in our flock a poddy lamb born out of season called Gus. Shearing and weaning in October. Haymaking in November.

The Oak Room - En-suite European King Bed.

This beautiful en-suite Oak Room overlooks the front paddocks. The European King bed has crisp white linen. There is a wonderful modern en-suite wet room with rainshower and underfloor heating in winter. Rates include your breakfast which can be traditional cooked with gum-smoked middle bacon from Balhannah Station butcher and eggs from our own chooks and home-made Noskes pork sausage, or Continental, with hand-crafted home-made croissants and fresh fruit or a lovely new-laid boiled egg with soldiers or traditional oat porridge. The Garden Room - Ensuite-twin-bed or superking

The Garden Room is just that, it overlooks the lawns and gums to the South of the property and with a small courtyard is ideal for chilling out during the warm summer evenings. The room has twin beds, but we can, if required, combine these together to make one large super-king. . Beautiful linen, a georgeous and warm (underfloor heating in winter) en-suite with rainshower in the wet area. Breakfast is included, either traditional cooked with gum-smoked middle bacon from the Balhannah Station butchers, eggs from our own chooks, Noskes home-made sausage etc., or continental with hand-crafted home-made croissants and fruit. Directions:
From Woodside, take the Tiers Road (opposite the woodside Hotel). After 1 km uphill turn RIGHT at the nasty bend in the road onto Western Branch Rd and then left at the GRAVEL ROAD sign into Burns Rd. Tiers View is the 2nd entrance on the left, well signposted and rural numbered 420.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations Cancellations notified more than 30 days prior to the first date booked will be entitled to a full refund onto the original card of any deposit paid. Cancellations notified 30 days or less and more than 14 days prior to the first date booked will forfeit the full deposit. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to the first date booked will forfeit all monies paid. INDEMNITY - We are a working farm and any children on our property should be under proper control at all times. We welcome guests dogs by prior arrangement but they must be on a lead at all times as we have sheep.
