Are you looking for the perfect family outing?
TRAIN RIDES - FARM ANIMALS - HANDS ON FUN - HISTORIC FARM - PICNIC AREA - TEAROOMS
Take the train ride through the historic farmyard and out into the open paddock. Travel through farm buildings, past sheep and cattle and the old gum trees. It may be your child’s lucky day when the train driver lets him/her change the switches! This 69 acre property has been in the Liebelt family since the early 1850’s and now 6th generation Liebelt, Glenn Liebelt, welcomes visitors to this picturesque farm.
Hands-on railway displays are housed in the farm buildings. Make the signal work, be a fireman or a train driver, follow the train track and discover life on the railways from over 80 countries of the world. The kids will love this interactive area and they can dress up with railway helmets and vests as they play.
Pat and feed the friendly farm animals. Meet ‘Captain’ the Clydesdale horse, ‘Tina” the sheep that loves to follow you around on the train and sometimes hops on board for a ride. Miss Moo will love a scratch, the guinea pigs want to be picked up and the chickens always enjoy being fed.
Play the outdoor old-fashioned games. Play horse-shoe throwing, balls in the milk cans and a giant board game of ‘Trains &Tunnels’ or dress the scarecrows.
Sit by the wood fire and treat yourself to a cappuccino or Devonshire tea with homemade scones, homemade jam and cream.
Glenn & Karen look forward to meeting you, so come and enjoy some quality time with your family.
