Visitors to the region's gardens can expect a sea of colour at the moment - nowhere more so than Mount Lofty Botanic Garden where October and November provide a stunning display in Rhododendron Gully.

The four distinct seasons of the Adelaide Hills mean gardens in the region have something new to offer visitors throughout the year. The region's climate is cooler than the Adelaide Plains and is perfect for cool climate plants such as camellias, rhododendrons and azaleas.

The Mount Lofty Botanic Garden, located in Crafers just 20 minutes from Adelaide, has guided walks of Rhododendron Gully in October and November - click here for details. For more information about gardens in the region visit our Gardens of the Adelaide Hills page.
